Sunshine, Community, and Connection at the EMBA Garden Party 2025

On Saturday, June 21, the EMBA community gathered once again for the much-loved annual Garden Party, held from noon to 6 p.m. in the idyllic setting of La Paisible.

This beautiful estate in the Geneva countryside is generously offered each year by one of our distinguished alumni, Antoine Gini, who has welcomed us to his domain for nearly two decades. With its open lawns, shaded tables, and tranquil atmosphere, La Paisible provided the perfect backdrop for a day of reconnection, celebration, and summer joy.

As tradition dictates, the event brought together a vibrant mix of current students, alumni, future MBA participants, faculty members, and their families. Everyone arrived with food and drinks to share, and the large barbecues quickly came to life with the sounds and scents of summer cooking. Children played freely on the grass while adults mingled, laughed, and reminisced. With the sun shining and the temperature soaring, guests enjoyed the shade of the trees and the cool of conversation under the open sky.

This year’s edition was especially festive. Six future MBA participants joined with their families, meeting members of the current cohort and many alumni for the first time. First-year students from the Class of 2025 were out in force, fresh from completing their final course in Supply Chain Management that very morning—making this gathering their unofficial start to summer break. Their joy was contagious, and their presence gave the event a dynamic, intergenerational energy.

In fact, this year’s Garden Party drew attendees spanning three decades of EMBA history, from graduates of 1995 all the way to the newest cohort. It was a living testament to the strength and longevity of the EMBA network. The international spirit of the program was on full display as participants from all over the world came together—not for a seminar or a lecture, but simply to enjoy each other’s company, good food, and the long June afternoon.

As the day unfolded, new arrivals joined the party and conversations stretched late into the day. People laid out their meals on shared tables, embodying the spirit of generosity and camaraderie that defines the EMBA community. The laughter of children, the warmth of old friendships rekindled, and the spark of new connections made this a truly memorable celebration. We left La Paisible with sun-kissed smiles and the shared feeling of being part of something lasting and meaningful.

Special thanks to the alumni association organizers, Nicolas Devincenti and Sofija Vidal, and to Lorine Barrier from the Geneva EMBA team, whose efforts helped make the day such a success.
