Alumni EMBA UNIGE Association – Focus on the Career Networking Events Chapter

Since 2011, the Career Networking Events Chapter of the EMBA UNIGE Alumni Association has been bringing together alumni, students and business professionals to foster meaningful connections, share experiences and support career development. With two to four events organised every year, the Chapter has become a valuable platform for professional exchange within the Lake Geneva region and beyond.

A diverse network fostering professional connections
Led by Lone Le Floch-Andersen, the Chapter brings together a dedicated team of EMBA graduates from different cohorts, nationalities and professional backgrounds. Its members – Yousri El Antri, Joëlle Morlet, Zhou Zheng, Marzena Lapka and Alain Sigrist – combine their expertise and networks to organise engaging events that encourage dialogue and collaboration. Over the years, the Chapter has welcomed speakers from leading organisations, including UEFA, the ICRC, Mercy Ships, RTS, CHUV, Banque Pictet and HSBC, among others.

Exploring today’s business and career challenges
The Chapter’s events address a wide range of topics reflecting the evolving professional landscape, from artificial intelligence and the future of work to entrepreneurship, leadership, business succession and human capital management. Through discussions with business leaders, entrepreneurs and industry experts, participants gain valuable insights, broaden their perspectives and develop connections that extend well beyond the EMBA programme.

Looking ahead: Skills Transformation – 5 November 2026
The next event will take place on 5 November 2026 at the Warwick Geneva, under the theme “Skills Transformation: What Makes a Career Last – and Keep Evolving?” Three women who have reinvented their careers across healthcare, finance and entrepreneurship will share their experiences and perspectives on professional transformation and adaptability.

Join the conversation!
The Career Networking Events Chapter welcomes alumni, current students and future participants to its events. Whether attending a discussion, suggesting a speaker or sharing a professional experience, everyone is invited to contribute to this dynamic community.

Because the EMBA journey continues long after graduation, every new connection can open the door to fresh opportunities.
